City of Everett Point Industrial Center (EPIC) Bridge Project <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 28 <br /> <br />WORK ELEMENT 1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />This work element includes administration of the contract between TranTech Engineering <br />(CONSULTANT) and the AGENCY, preparation of monthly progress reports, and quality control, <br />necessary for the Project. The task includes all administrative services needed to coordinate with <br />the sub-consultant/s and to complete the Project on time and within budget. The following are the <br />categorized activities associated with this work element: <br /> <br />1.1 Monthly Progress Reports, and Invoicing: <br />• Progress reports will contain a narrative that identifies and describes significant <br />activities performed in the previous month and the significant planned activities for the <br />upcoming month. <br /> <br />1.2 Design Team Management: <br />• Schedule and coordinate with the design team. <br />• Prepare sub-consultant agreements as well as coordinate, budget, and review their <br />project progress and submittals. <br />• Prepare, monitor, and update the Project schedule. <br />• Monitor the Project budget. <br />• Prepare monthly billings, progress reports, and update monthly the Project schedule. <br />• Maintain regular informal contact through telephone discussions and electronic mail. <br />• Obtain, with assistance from the AGENCY, rights of entry necessary for geotechnical <br />studies, etc. <br /> <br />1.3 Meetings <br />• Weekly or biweekly meetings with AGENCY to coordinate and share progress. <br />• Biweekly meetings with internal team and including subconsultants when needed. Up <br />to twenty-four (24) team meetings are assumed for the duration of the design activities. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br /> <br />• Progress Reports <br />• Meeting Minutes <br />• Monthly Invoicing <br />• Project Schedule <br /> <br /> <br />Exhibit A
