MGSFlood software will be used for water quality <br />treatment sizing. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />• Preliminary water quality treatment calculations (to be used for showing the Type, Size, <br />and Locations of the proposed water quality treatment BMP(s) in support of the <br />preliminary bridge/roadway design alternatives analysis. <br /> <br /> <br />5. 2 TS&L and Alternative Design Study <br /> <br />Perteet will prepare one horizontal and up to three vertical alignment alternatives for the project <br />to support the analysis of up to three bridge concepts and roadway connection points. However, <br />the exact alignment remains to be fixed based on a detailed survey, and not motorized <br />connections. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Up to three alternative roadway profiles as roll plots and one channelization plan <br /> <br />5.3 Preferred Alternative (10-15%) <br />Based on the feedback, Perteet will develop the preferred alternative which may consist of a <br />combination or hybrid of alternatives from the previous step. The design elements will be <br />reassessed or progressed based on the preferred alternative. A sample plant/amenities pallet (see <br />Task 6) will be developed to present with the preferred alternative. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />• Materials for Community Engagement #1 – roll plot of the existing area with roadway <br />layout <br />• Roadway plan and profile sheets of the preferred alternative.’ <br /> <br />5.4 Planning Level Opinion of Cost <br />A comparative opinion of cost will be prepared for the bridge/alignment alternatives. The <br />cost will be relative and used to screen out alternatives. An opinion of cost for the preferred <br />alternative will be prepared based on unit prices and incorporate about a 30% contingency to <br />account for the level of completeness of plan preparation, and to reflect experience on similar <br />projects within the region. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Comparative Opinion of Cost for each alternative <br />• Planning level Opinion of Cost for the preferred alternative <br /> <br />Exhibit A
