No grocer, druggist or restaurateur shall sell beer <br /> or wine during the hours when beer and winea.re recjl:ired to be closed <br /> by the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> A hotel, having a license, shall not sell and deliver to any <br /> one guest in any 24yhour day to exceed six pint bottles of beer or <br /> wine. <br /> ADVERTISING. <br /> Section It shall be unlawful for any licensed beer and. <br /> wine dealer to advertise or use beer and/or wine to be given away as <br /> a leader or premium with any goods, wares and merchandise. <br /> CLOSING HOURS. <br /> Section In no beer and wine parlor shall beer and wine be <br /> sold, or in any manner disposed of in the City of Everett between the <br /> hours of 12 o'clock midnight and 7 o 'clock A. 7. of each (Ray of the <br /> week, nor during the voting hours of City, School, County, (-tate or <br /> national election day, and it shall be unlawful for any licensed beer <br /> and wine parlor to keep opsen during said hours, or have unlocked any <br /> door or doors, or open passage way to any beer and wine parlor, or to <br /> permit any person not the owner thereof or an employee therein to re- <br /> main in or about the premises of said beer and wine parlor during said <br /> prohibited hours. <br /> BONDS. <br /> (or Class B Restaurant) <br /> Section 45: No beer and/or wine parlor/license shall be granted <br /> until the applicant therefor shall give good and sufficient bond exe- <br /> cuted by some responsible surety company, authorized to do business <br /> in the State of ?,ashington, or by a satisfactory personal bond, con- <br /> ditioned that the applicant shall save the City harmless from damage <br /> (or Class B Restaurant) <br /> in any way arising from the operation of a beer and wine parlor,/ Such <br /> bond shall be in the sum of one thousand ( 1000) dollars and before <br /> any license is issued, must be approved by the City Attorney and City <br /> Council and it is hereby made the duty of the City Attorney to maintain <br /> any action for recovery upon any such bonds. <br /> - 8 - <br />
