8. It is further agreed that all present property rights in said District of the parties hereto shall be retained . 9. It is further agreed that all extensions of mains within said Lowell Water District shall be constructed and paid for by assessments upon abutting property thru Local Improvement Districts created by the Lowell Water District. 10. The life of this agreement shall be for fifty (50) years .
