• <br /> , • e <br /> Section 56 - Health Department <br /> The Everett Board of Health shall have complete control of the treatment <br /> of the waters of the Municipal Water System. <br /> Section 57 - Meter Rate for Sprinkling <br /> Lawn Sprinkling and Domestic Use of Water through a metered service for <br /> the months of June , July, August and September shall be paid at the rate of six <br /> (6) cents per cubic foot with a minimum charge of two ($2.00) Dollars per month; <br /> provided, however, that the charge for water to any metered customer for each <br /> of the months of June , July, August and September shall not be less than the <br /> average monthly charge made to that customer for the three previous months of <br /> March, April and May. <br /> Section 58 - Lien for Delinquent Water Charges <br /> That the City of Everett elects to claim and does hereby claim a lien in <br /> the manner provided by chap. 135, Laws of Washington, 1933 , as now amended or <br /> as the same may be hereafter amended, for all delinquent and unpaid charges <br /> for water against the premises to which the same has been furnished; provided, <br /> that the owner, or the owner of a delinquent mortgage on, of said premises may <br /> give written notice to the superintendent or other head of such works or plants <br /> to cut-off service to said premises, and from and after the giving of such no- <br /> tice and the paymeht or tender of the then delinquent and unpaid charges against <br /> such premises for such service and the cut-off charge , the city shall have no <br /> lien on the premises for charges for such services thereafter furnished, nor <br /> shall the owner, or the owner of a delinquent mortgage on, be held for the pay- <br /> ment thereof; provided, further, that such liens shall not be for more than <br /> four months' charges due or to become due , nor for any charges which have been <br /> due for more than four months, unless such limitation be waived. <br /> Section 59 - <br /> That Ordinance No . 1749 and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances <br /> in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: July 12th , 1933 <br /> Published: July lithp , 1933 <br /> -29- <br />
