<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2574
<br /> An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2513, as amended by Ordinance No .
<br /> 2526, known as the "License Code", entitled as follows, to-wit:
<br /> "An Ordinance relating to, and providing for, the licensing and
<br /> regulating of certain occupations, businesses, vocations, trades,
<br /> callings, amusements, places of amusements, exhibitions, enter-
<br /> tainments, animals, motor vehicles, places and establishments;
<br /> defining offenses, providing penalties ; providing for the revo-
<br /> cation and suspension of licenses, repealing Ordinances No. 2196,
<br /> 853, 1301, 1503, 1583, 1585, 1595, 1598, 1771, 1851, 1932, 1941,
<br /> 1948, 1964, 2087, 2182, 2249, 2333, 2370 and 2038, and all other
<br /> ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith" .
<br /> by adding thereto new sections 37a, I49a, 176a, 176b and 176c, and by amend-
<br /> ing Sections 68, 72, 77, 99 and 140, and providing penalties.
<br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DICES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That Ordinance No . 2513 as amended by Ordinance No. 2526
<br /> of the City of 'Everett be amended by adding thereto a new section, to be
<br /> known as Section 37a, to read as follows:
<br /> Section 37a. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation,
<br /> copartnership or any other organization of any kind to engage in the busi-
<br /> ness or occupation of sign writer or painter, or carry on such business or
<br /> occupation, within the City Limits of the City of Everett, without first
<br /> having obtained a license therefor, and the fee for such license shall be
<br /> and hereby is fixed at the rate of Five 05.00) Dollars per year.
<br /> Section 2: That Ordinance No. 2513 as amended by Ordinance No. 2526
<br /> of the City of Everett be amended by adding thereto a new section, to be
<br /> known as Section 149a, to read as follows:
<br /> Section 149a. No person, firm, corporation, copartnership or any oth-
<br /> er organization of any kind shall engage in the business or occupation of
<br /> buying, selling, trading or in any manner handling, second hand automobiles,
<br /> trucks, tractors, motorcycles or similar vehicles for the purpose of dis-
<br /> mantling or breaking up the same into parts
<br /> without the payment of a license fee to the city of .Everett of Five (0.00)
<br /> Dollars per year, and all persons, firms, corporations or any other organi-
<br /> zations engaged in handling second hand automobiles, trucks, motorcycles or
<br /> i
<br /> similar vehicles for the purpose of dismantling or breaking up the same into
