PP <br /> engine number or the identification mark on such motor vehicle, the name and <br /> address of the person or persons, firm, corporation or other organization <br /> selling the same or buying the same, and such books of account shall at all <br /> times be kept open to the inspection of the police department of the city of <br /> each day <br /> Everett , and shall file a report of all such cars s® -ot� . <br /> with the police department of the said city of Everett; <br /> provided, that dealers in new motor vehicles who take used motor vehicles in <br /> exchange shall not be required to keep such records of sales. <br /> Section 3: That Ordinance No . 2513 as amended by Ordinance No. 2526 of <br /> (;!7the City of Everett be amended by adding thereto a new section to be called <br /> 4 176a, which shall read as follows, to exit: <br /> lt ( ' <br /> ASection 176a. It shall be unlawful for any person, corporation, associ- <br /> ation, copartnership or any other organization of any kind whose occupation or <br /> 70 <br /> II business is that of making short time loans of money, with or without security <br /> ed(C9 <br /> upon chattels or other personal property, to working people. or salary earners <br /> within the limits of the city of Everett, to carry on and conduct said business <br /> without making application for and obtaining a license from the City Council of <br /> said City and the fee for said license shall be $'100 .00 per annum, payable on <br /> or before January 1st of each year. This ordinance shall not apply to any per- <br /> son, corporation, association, copartnership or any other organization conduct - <br /> ing and carrying on a general banking business, savings and loan association or <br /> any foreign bank or foreign banker with an office in the city for the purpose of <br /> buying and selling exchange, coin or bullion. . <br /> Section 4: That Ordinance No. 2513 as amended by Ordinance No. 2526 of <br /> the City of Everett be amended by adding thereto a new section, to be known as <br /> Section 176b, to read as follows: <br /> Section 176b. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm copartnership, <br /> corporation or other organization to carry on within the city limits of Everett <br /> the business or occupation of pressing, cleaning or dyeing clothes, wearing ap- <br /> parel, and other articles without first having obtained a license therefor as <br /> provided in this ordinance, and the license fee therefor shall be as follows: <br /> (a) Pressing and cleaning clothes and other articles by hand where ben- <br /> zins or other inflammable material not in excess of one gallon is used, which <br /> -2- <br />
