RESOLUTION NO. ______________ <br />A RESOLUTION declaring a 2009 Navistar/International 7600 Dump Truck (J0094) surplus and <br />authorizing for sale at public auction. <br />WHEREAS, <br />1.The City has a 2009 Navistar/International 7600 Dump Truck (J0094) and <br />2.The above-referenced equipment is no longer of value or use to the City; and <br />3.Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for surplus or disposition of City- <br />owned personal property; and <br />4.Based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance 2963-06, a public auction is the <br />disposition method that best meets the City’s interests; and <br />5.The City’s Procurement Manager has reported the basis for the estimated value of the surplus <br />property and has recommended to surplus the above-referenced vehicle and equipment by <br />public auction <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND EVERETT CITY COUNCIL THAT: <br />1.The City has a 2009 Navistar/International 7600 Dump Truck (J0094). <br />2.The disposition of this equipment at a public auction is hereby authorized. <br />_________________________________________ <br />Councilmember introducing resolution <br />Passed and approved this _____ day of ___________________, 2023. <br />______________________________________ <br />Council President
