The proposed easement consists of approximately 905 square feet. The agreed compensation to the City in exchange for the easement is $6,787.50. Project summary statement: ALS Highlander Owner LLC acquired the Highlander Apartments located at 2415 11th Street in Everett in 2021. During its due-diligence prior to acquisition, the now current owner noted that an existing driveway crosses a portion of City property, commonly known as the Wiggums Hollow Skate Park. The owner contacted City Real Property staff to negotiate an access easement for the existing driveway to ensure continuity of use for their tenants to access the property via 10th Street. The proposed easement is for ingress and egress only and may be terminated in favor of public use if the City so requires. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Access Easement at 2415 11th St. and Wiggums Hollow Skate Park.
