The proposed easement <br />consists of approximately 905 square feet. The agreed compensation to the City in <br />exchange for the easement is $6,787.50. <br />Project summary statement: <br />ALS Highlander Owner LLC acquired the Highlander Apartments located at 2415 11th <br />Street in Everett in 2021. During its due-diligence prior to acquisition, the now current <br />owner noted that an existing driveway crosses a portion of City property, commonly <br />known as the Wiggums Hollow Skate Park. The owner contacted City Real Property staff <br />to negotiate an access easement for the existing driveway to ensure continuity of use <br />for their tenants to access the property via 10th Street. The proposed easement is for <br />ingress and egress only and may be terminated in favor of public use if the City so <br />requires. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Access Easement at 2415 11th St. and Wiggums Hollow <br />Skate Park. <br /> <br /> <br />
