Amendment 1 PSA with Brown and Caldwell for Port Gardner Storage Facility Project <br />Exhibit A Scope of Work <br />18 <br />Task 413 – Survey (1 Alliance) <br />Objective: Perform surveying services to support the design of the PGSF. The area will be limited to <br />the ROW to the east of the PGSF site that was not previously surveyed. <br />Activities/Approach: This task includes the following activities: <br />• Perform topographic field survey of the ROW directly to the east of the KC property and north <br />parking lot. Survey shall include but is not limited to the following: Identify existing utilities, <br />improvements, man-made features, roadways, boundaries, critical elevations, existing <br />structures, natural features, and grades within the limits of work. The field survey shall include <br />enough detail to produce a base map with boundary information, contours, and other <br />topographic information. <br />• Update previous survey along south property line. Port improvements included new Ecology block <br />wall and fencing. <br />• Update previous survey along west property line. Port improvements included new fencing. <br />• South gravity thickener tanks diameter and wall height, launder dimensions, high point and low <br />point floor elevations. <br />• Railroad tracks east of existing Chemical Building. <br />• Establish horizontal and vertical control points based on the Project’s control system and <br />information for contract documents including survey points, a basis of bearing, benchmarks for <br />vertical control, and datum information for development of base mapping. <br />• Provide pothole surveys to identify the location and crown elevation of existing buried piping. <br />Task Assumptions <br />• Contractor is responsible for setting up their own survey control during construction and may <br />incorporate Owner provided benchmarks. <br />• Survey work products will be provided in a digital format. <br />• North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88) will serve as the standard project datum. <br />• All confined space entry plans, permits, and equipment are the responsibility of BC and the <br />subconsultants. <br />Everett Responsibilities <br />• Provide the necessary staffing and resources to support field work. <br />Meetings <br />• Two site visits. <br />Work Products <br />• Digital drawing files with surveyor’s sign and seal. Electronic deliverables to include 2D base map <br />(if combined with the previous survey file, distinguish new survey items or limits of new survey) <br />and 3D surface DRM of the ROW directly east of the KC site and north parking lot, and combined <br />3D surface TIN of previous ground plus additional ground to east and updated south property <br />limits as one surface. <br />Task 414 – Corrosion Probe <br />Objective: Provide ongoing support to BC design team regarding preparation of high-performance <br />coating specifications, existing handrail rehabilitation, and existing structure repairs and renovations.
