CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />Beverly Lake Water Quality Retrofit Division 6 – STRUCTURES August 2023 <br />WO No. - UP3745 SP – 183 <br />DIVISION 6 – STRUCTURES <br /> <br />6-11 REINFORCED CONCRETE WALLS <br /> <br />6-11.1 Description <br />Revise the first paragraph in 6-11.1 to read as follows: <br />This work consists of constructing reinforced concrete retaining walls that form Water <br />Quality Treatment Structure 3 described in 7-06.2. See structural notes in the Drawings <br />for additional requirements. <br /> <br />6-11.2 Materials <br />Append the list of materials in 6-11.2 to include: <br />Plastic Waterstop 9-24 <br /> <br />6-11.3 Construction Requirements <br /> <br />6-11.3(1) Submittals <br />Delete and Replace 6-11.3(1) with the following: <br /> <br />The Contractor shall submit Type 2E Working Drawings consisting of excavation shoring <br />plans in accordance with Section 2-09.3(3)D. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall submit Type 2E Working Drawings of falsework and formwork plans <br />in accordance with Sections 6-02.3(16) and 6-02.3(17). <br /> <br /> <br />6-11.3(3) Precast Concrete Wall Stem Panels <br />6-11.3(3) is deleted in its entirety. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6-11.3(6) Traffic Barrier and Pedestrian Barrier <br />Replace 6-11.3(6) with the following: <br /> <br />6-11.3(6) Pedestrian Guardrail <br />When shown in the Drawings, pedestrian guardrail shall be constructed in accordance <br />with the City of Everett Standard Detail noted on the Drawings. <br /> <br />6-11.4 Measurement <br />Replace 6-11.4 with the following: <br />Bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be measured as <br />described in Division B – Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and Section 1- <br />09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications <br />
