CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />Beverly Lake Water Quality Retrofit Division 7 – STORM, SEWER, WATER August 2023 <br />WO No. - UPUP3745 SP – 193 <br />accordance with ASTM C109 shall have minimum compressive strength <br />of 6,200 psi. Grout shall not exhibit visible bleeding. <br /> <br />Backfill material shall be ¾-inch minus crushed rock, meeting the <br />requirements of Crushed Surfacing Top Course per Section 9-03.9(3), or <br />approved equal. <br /> <br />Structure 2 <br />The modular wetland shall consist of precast concrete vault structure with <br />internal treatment media, pretreatment media and associated <br />components. The structure and internal components will be provided <br />by the Owner and to be installed by the Contractor. The structure will <br />be located at the Owner’s stockyard at 4000 Railway Avenue, Everett, <br />WA. The Contractor will be responsible for transporting the structure from <br />the stockyard to the project site, including all equipment and materials <br />necessary to load and unload the structure and associated components. <br /> <br />Contractor provided components: <br /> <br />All contractor-provided components shall meet the requirements of this section, <br />the Drawings, Specifications, Contract documents, and manufacturer’s <br />recommended materials. In the case of conflict, the more stringent specification <br />shall apply. <br /> <br />Sub-base: Crushed rock base material shall be six-inch minimum layer Crushed <br />Surfacing Top Course in accordance with Section 9-03.9(3). Compact <br />undisturbed sub-grade materials to 95% of maximum density at +/-2% of <br />optimum moisture content. Unsuitable material below sub-grade shall be <br />replaced to engineer’s approval. <br /> <br />In-situ concrete, if required, shall have an unconfined compressive strength at 28 <br />days of at least 3000 psi, with ¾-inch round rock, a 4-inch slump maximum, and <br />shall be placed within 90 minutes of initial mixing. <br /> <br />Silicone Sealant shall be pure RTV silicone conforming to Federal Specification <br />Number TT S001543A or TT S00230C or Engineer approved. <br /> <br />Grout shall be non-shrink grout meeting the requirements of Corps of Engineers <br />CRD-C588. Specimens molded, cured and tested in accordance with ASTM <br />C109 shall have minimum compressive strength of 6,200 psi. Grout shall not <br />exhibit visible bleeding. <br /> <br />Backfill material shall be ¾-inch minus crushed rock, meeting the requirements of <br />Crushed Surfacing Top Course per Section 9-03.9(3), or approved equal. <br /> <br /> <br />Structure 3 <br /> <br />Structure 3 shall consist of a cast in place concrete structure conforming to <br />Sections 6-02, 6-11 and structural notes included in the drawings. The structure <br />shall house a proprietary media and components as indicated in the Drawings. <br />All internal components shall be provided by the manufacturer except as <br />otherwise indicated herein. <br />
