September 13, 2023 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., September 13, <br />2023, by President Stonecipher. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Tuohy, Schwab, Rhyne, and President <br />Stonecipher were present. Mayor Franklin, Council Members Zarlingo, Vogeli, and Fosse were <br />excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Schwab led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne read the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the September 6, 2023, City Council meeting were tabled due to lack of a quorum <br />from the September 6 meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Council received no written comments and the following members of the public spoke: Jeramy <br />Olson, Randy Stimpson, David Mascaderias, Janean Des Marcus, Carole Morgan, and Micki Hazen. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne requested an evaluation of the City’s website for accessibility, updated <br />information, and links. Council Member Rhyne also requested an update on the Everett Forward <br />Grant awarded to Planned Parenthood to increase security measures and privacy. <br /> <br />President Stonecipher also requested a website audit and plans to address ability to access <br />information. President Stonecipher also requested briefings on safety concerns occurring around <br />Planned Parenthood, and the timeline regarding the public restrooms. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br />
