September 13, 2023 <br />2 <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided updates on last week’s council meeting <br />comments and concerns. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall requested a 10-minute executive session to discuss a worker’s <br />compensation matter, pursuant to RCW 42.31.110.1(i), with council action to follow. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7928 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$2,104,182.64 for the period of August 26, 2023 through September 1, 2023. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7929 authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br />amount of $5,111,986.65 for the period ending August 26, 2023. <br /> <br />AWARD – PROPOSAL #2023-096 FOR BIOXIDE SUPPLY AND SERVICE <br /> <br />To award Request for Proposal #2023-096 for Bioxide Supply and Service to Evoqua Water <br />Technologies, LLC., for a two-year contract with four, one-year optional renewals for <br />approximately $352,000 per year including Washington State sales tax. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION – 2023 BIOSOLIDS REMOVAL PROJECT <br /> <br />To accept the 2023 Biosolids Removal Project as complete and authorize the Mayor to sign the <br />Certificate of Completion. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – LOCAL PARK MAINTENANCE GRANT <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7930 to support Parks’ request for a Local Park Maintenance Grant <br />with Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office. <br /> <br />
