l.. t • ORDINANCE NO. 233 An ordinance providing for the improvement of the center parking strips on Everett Avenue from Broadway Avenue to Rucks r Avenue, by grading, construction of a Portland cement one course concrete pave•-:r,, ment, also making all necessary water ma.in changes from Broadway Avenue to Rucker Avenue, re-surfacing the Wetmore Avenue intersection with Portland cement concrete pavement, also making ,changes in the Thicker Avenue intersection necessary to enlarge the curb 'returns on the north- east and southeast corners, and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 3634 of the City of Everett, creating an assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, providing that seventy-five per cent . of the cost of said improvement shall be paid by the City of Everett out of the Auto Highway and Road and Bridge Funds, and that twenty-five per cent. of the cost of said improvement shall be paid by special assessment upon the property in said district, under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, by resolution No. 3634, of the City of Everett, the City Council has declared its intention to order the improvement as above outlined and doing all other work in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance with plans and specifica- tions prepared by the City Engineer, NOW THEREFORE: THE CITTY OF EVE7fETT DOES ORDAIN; Section 1. That the center parking strips on Everett Avenue from Broadway Avenue to Bucker Avenue be improved by grading, construe- ti on of a Portland cement one co arse concrete, pavement, making-` neces- sary water .,main changes from Broadway Avenue to Rucker Avenue, re-sur- facing the Wetmote Avenue intersection with Portland cement concrete pavement, also making changes in the Bucker Avenue int ersection neces- sary to enlarge the curb returns on the northeast and southeast corners 1.
