I tried contacting you by phone but was not able to reach a person or leave a message on either of the phone numbers provided in the application. We have completed the first review of the building plans for this project. This email will serve as the review letter. The comments below should be addressed. Two revised full-sized hard-copies of the drawings should be submitted for review. An itemized response letter stating how each comment has been addressed should be included with the drawing. Additional revised documentation, including but not limited structural calculations and other supporting documentation, should be submitted as required. Comments 1. The location of the proposed work area is not clear. It appears to b a small area located between two larger sections of one of the buildings on the lot. An overall site/building plan should be provided that clearly indicates the work area shown in the submitted partial plan. See IBC Section 107.2.1. 2. The proposed work appears to be a roof recover per IEBC Section 705.3.1. A report documenting that the existing roofing system was assessed and found to comply with IEBC Section 705.3.1.1 Item 1.
