Braced wall lines and panels:
Corrections are located on p.3 of the plans. They consist of dashed lines along the shorter shear
walls, mostly located at the entry elevation, with two short exterior wall sections located by the
utility room. A description of the sheathing type and nailing pattern accompanies the dashed
lines. The two short sheer walls by the utility also reflect a total of 4 new S.T.H.D.14 holdowns on
the foundation plan—p.4.
2./3. Landing at the entrance and step up from the garage:
This is addressed on the main floor plan showing the entry covered porch as concrete. An
intermediate step up from the garage to the house is shown as well as a step up to the front porch
and another step up three feet in front of the entry door. All risers are to be less than 7 3/4"up.
The front porch is also addressed on the foundation plan which shows 24"long#4 dowels at 18"
o.c.grouted 4"into the foundation wall by the concrete porch.
4. The two screened ventilation openings for the water heater are shown and described on the main
floor plan,p.3.
5. R-10 rigid insulation at the headers are shown in sections"B-B"and"A-A"p.6 and a note was
also included on the roof framing plan,p.5.
6. The living area of the main floor of the house was verified and actually reduced from 1800 s.f.to
1758 s.f.(correction of my previous error in calculation) The area of the garage and covered porch
are also shown by the main floor plan on page 3.
I hope these corrections will satisfy your requests.
Sincerely,
Michel Druelle
Designer
PHONE: 425.742.6489 I FAX: 425.710.9986 I P 0 Box 1 143 MUKILTEO,WA 98275 I MICHELDRUELLE@COMCAsr.NET
