INTRODUC 1'IGN:
The p: Nose of these calculations is to show that the proposed stormwater conveyance
system is adequate to convey the 25 year storm per the City of Everett standards.
NARRATIVE:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project is the redevelopment of an existing commercial development that has been
demolished leaving an asphalt parking lot and building foundations. This project
proposes to construct a 2,500 +/- sf structure along with associated parking and
required landscaping.
The site is located at the North East cxner of 25h Street and Broadway in Everett
Washington and lies in the SW'/ of Section 20, T 29 N., R 5 E., W.M.,
GEOTECHNICAL INFORMATION:
As can be seen on the soil map attached we are in an "Alderwood-urban lar:d complex,
2-8 percent slopes.
PRE-DEVELOPMENT BASIN INFORMATION:
The pre-developed site consists of a paved parking area and concrete slabs with
minimal landscaping.
POST-DEVELOPMENT BASIN INFORMATION:
The post developed site proposes a 2,500 sf +/- structure with parking and
landscaping. We propose to eliminate a driveway on Broadway and install a new
driveway on 25°' street along with access to ihe existing alley. The site currently flows
into ihe CSO system at the Northwest corner of the site and we propose to utilize the
same connection.
Methodology:
We are using the Rarional Method and the 25 year storm to calculate the peak ow from
the site.
fihip/ilaConsidlu{qL•'nginceia' Pagc2oG .ilonev7rcc-[ircre11116
