6
Plans
C3.01
How will drainage from the west be collected? It appears
that the new curbing will cut off the route to the existing
catch basins.
Will runoff flow through the ADA curb cut? If so... that's not
ideal, and the collected area should be included in the
treatment unit sizing.
7
Plans
C3.05
CBs SD9 and SD7 have adverse changes in elevation. This
will cause the upstream pipes to be perpetually full of
water which will lead to increased maintenance costs and
plugging issues as sediment is likely to settle out in the
pipes. Is this necessary? Is the Port willing to take
responsibility for the additional maintenance burden?
Typically this configuration would not be acceptable. SD 9
is especially concerning as it is below MHHW.
8
Operation
-
. Provide a cover sheet for the Operation and
and
Maintenance Manual to make it a standalone document.
Maintenance
Manual
. Include owners and parties responsible for
maintenance.
Include maintenance requirements for all stormwater
elements on the site, including CBs, pipes, etc. SWMM cut
sheets are acceptable.
9
Declaration
-
Provide a recorded copy of the Declaration of Covenant to
of Covenant
the City. This is required prior to Public Works Permit
Issuance. We recommend removing "And Grant of
Easement" from the title and footers, as we have found that
the County is requiring this form to be recorded twice.
