J i <br /> section 2: Any person violating any of the provisions of this <br /> Ordinance shall be punished by imprisonment in the City Jail for a <br /> period not to exceed thirty days or by a fine of not to exceed the <br /> sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00 ) or by both such fine and imprison- <br /> ment. <br /> Section 3: Whereas the protection and regulation of school <br /> children require the assistance and cooperation of school authorities <br /> and the students themselves and whereas, this Ordinance is immediately <br /> necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, <br /> an Emergency is declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect <br /> immediately upon its passage and publication. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Cler k <br /> Passed: April 14th, 1931.. <br /> Published: Lpril 16th, 1.931 . <br />
