Any person wishing to place or cause to be placed any such building materials in any publ&yeet, avenue or other public place as specified in aectiell of this ordinance, instead of furnishing a separate bond iripach individual instance, may on making written application therefor to said City Council, furnish a good and sufficient bond, with one or more sureties, to be furnished by any surety company authorized to transact the business of a surety within the state of Washington, to said City of Everett, in the penal sum of two thousand dollars (42000.00) which bond shall apply to and cover all such permits which may thereafter be granted to said applicant during the period of one year from such original apthcation. Said bond shall be approved by the City Uouncil and shall be conditioned as provided in Section 3y lof this ordinance, and shall also, be expressly conditioned ire Ve applicable to all permits which may be granted to said applicant during the period of one year from the date of such original application. - Section 1' io person,' ' . .7.,, . lrson, corporation, firm or association 4,1 of persons shall leave ay of the building material or materials mentioned in Section hereof in or upon any street, avenue, alley or other public g ound in the City of Everett, without erecting barriers sufficient to adequately safeguard persons and/or property, ana, during the night time, placing thereon red lights sufficient and adequate to warn any and all persons of danger, and no person, corporation, firm or association of persons shall leave any building in or upon any such street , avenue, alley or other public ground in the City of Everett during the hours of darkness within one hundred feet of any street intersection and without having the entire block in which said building is left adequately barricaded and closed to traffic and without placing on said building and on said barricades red lights sufficient and adequate and so placed as to earn all approaching traffic of the existence of said obatruction in said place and without having a watchman at such building. Section -. -/// : It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, their agents or employees engaged in the removal of any building along any or across any street, avenue, alley or other public gro4nd, to fasten "dogs" or other appliances used in said work of removal on the sidewalks, curbing, gutters, street plank- ing, pavement or street crossings in said city. 3ectio41 : Any permit or license provided for herein may be revokea at any time by said City Council for any violation on the part of the holder of any of the conditions of said ordinances or regulation of said City Council relating to such use of the aul-lte straits. 6ectiola .... ;? 111 city Council of said city is authorized to grant to any person a permit in writing to place and keep any building materials i- any of the public streets, alleys, avenues, or other public places of said city for a period of time not exceed- ing three months, but such permit shall not authorize the ob*truction of more than one-third of the carriageway of the street opposite the lot on which a building is to be erected or repaired by the person to whom such permit is issued; and every person to whom such permit shall be granted shall construct and maintain during the entire time he shall obstruct any such street, avenue, alley or other public place under such permit a temporary sidewalk at least two feet in width around said obstructions. -it -
