4 <br /> HATERS, v1EDDLERS AND SOLICITORS <br /> ��� sir <br /> Sectior� b: No person engage' in the business of Hawke , <br /> ieddier or Solicitor in the city of Everett without a license there- <br /> for issued by the City Clerk of the City of Everett, which license <br /> shall be issued ty such City Clerk upon presentation to him of a <br /> receipt of the City Treasurer showing payment of the fee herein- <br /> after required. With his application for such license the applicant <br /> shall furnish the City Clerk the following information: <br /> 1st: His full name. <br /> 2nd: His age. <br /> 3rd: His nationality. <br /> 4th: His permanent address. <br /> 5th: His residence within the city of Everett . <br /> 6tah: The name of the person, firm or corporation by <br /> whom he is employed. <br /> 7th: 2he name and nature of the articles which he <br /> is peddling or for which he is soliciting. <br /> section ‘„ : Any person selling or offering for sale any article <br /> or thing, except newspapers, within the city of verett who shall make <br /> a public outcry or give any musical entertainment, or ring any bell, <br /> or blow any whistle or horn, or shall make any public speech to draw <br /> customers or attract notice, whether on any street or public place <br /> or in any vacant lot, enclosure, storeroom or other place ; or, <br /> Any person who shall on any street, avenue , alley <br /> or other public place, or in any vacant lot, enclosure, storeroom or <br /> other place within the city of Everett, make any public outcry or give <br /> any musical or other entertainment, or ring any bell or blow ariy whistle <br /> or horn or make any public speech to draw customers or attract notice, or <br /> who shall make any demonstration diculated to draw attention to any <br /> goods, wares, merchandise, amusement, event or service, at any other <br /> place shall be deemed a hawker, within the meaning of this Ordinance. <br /> — 23- <br />
