• <br /> GASOLINE STATIONS <br /> Sectiak ( _: The term Gasoline Station as used in this <br /> ordinance shall mean and include every place where a pump ( or <br /> other device) is used for the purpose of supplying or selling <br /> gasoline at retail or any place where gasoline is supplied, sold, <br /> offered or kept for sale at retail, to the general public, to <br /> employees, neighbors, friends or other persons, but shall not in- <br /> clude a pump (or other device ) used by a merchant, manufacturer, <br /> contractor, transfer man or other person who may use a pump ( or <br /> other device) to supply gasoline to his own machines or motor <br /> vehicles exclusively. <br /> Sect ioi. �It shall be unlawful for any person to operate <br /> any gasolin s ation without having a valid and subsisting license <br /> for such station, to be known as a "Gasoline Station License ." The <br /> fee for a Gasoline Station License, where the pump or pumps are <br /> located at or near the curb of any street or upon any street, avenue, <br /> alley or other public place of the city of Everett, shall be, and the <br /> same is hereby fixed at : 25.00 per annum for each pump or other device <br /> used, at such gasoline station and so located, in vending., selling or <br /> measuring gasoline. <br /> The fee for all other gasoline station licenses <br /> shall be and the same is hereby fixed at 455.00 per annum for each pump <br /> or other device used at such gasoline station in vending, selling or <br /> measuring gasoline. <br /> Section. ' : Every person requiring a Gasoline Station icen.se <br /> shall make application therefor to the City Clerk on a form to be fur <br /> nighed by that officer. The application shall contain the name of the <br /> owner of the gasoline station, the location, the number of pumps (or other <br /> devises) in use, and such other information as the City Clerk mag deem <br /> ' <br /> necessary. The application shall be duly signed and. sworn to. <br /> Before a Gasoline Station License is issued, the City Clerk shall <br /> satisfy himself that all of the provisions of the ordinance relating to <br /> construction, maintenance and location of gasoline stations, and the <br /> storage of gasoline, have been complied with. <br /> _7,-- I <br />
