. , <br /> . . <br /> • <br /> , • . <br /> • • <br /> • <br /> .,, <br /> JO <br /> such dog, cat, kitten or other feline for sale for the payment of said <br /> tax and fine, and in case of failure to obtain a purchaser for the <br /> amount of said tax and tine, it shall be the duty of said Poundmaster <br /> to immediately kill said dog, cat, kitten or other feline; provided, <br /> that if a dog so sold is not to be kept in the city of Everett, the <br /> purchaser of such dog, cat, kitten or other feline shall not be required <br /> to pay the license fee herein provided, ani provided further that if no <br /> purchaser can be found who will pay the tax and fine, said poundmaster <br /> may sell said dog, "A,kitten or other feline for the amount of the tax. <br /> Section ArThe owner of any dog, cat, kitten or other feline <br /> impounded may redeem the same within forty-eight hours by paying to <br /> the Commissioner of Safety the license tax together with a penalty of <br /> 1.00 impounding fee; providing, that said owner has not been notified <br /> to pay said tax prior to the impounding of said dog, cat, kitten or <br /> other feline such owner shall not be required to pay said fine. <br /> Ak Sectionc6; It shall be the duty of the Poundmaster to keep <br /> a complete record of his acts performed pursuant to this Ordinance. <br /> Section It shall be unlawful for any owner or keeper of <br /> any dog, eat, kitten or other feline, to permit such dog, cat , kitten <br /> or other feline, to wear a license tag without the license fee having <br /> been paid and license procured for such dog, cat, kitten or bther <br /> feline. <br /> Section, ' : It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to <br /> attempt to prev,nt or hinder th, Chief of Police, poundmaster or any <br /> other officer from carrying out the provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> ifSection : ' It It shall be unlawful for any person as owner or <br /> keeper to permit or suffer any female dog in hoat to run at large. <br /> e,Sectionl ,' : It shall be unlawful for any person who is the <br /> owner or keeper of any dog to allow such dog between the hours of sun- <br /> set and sunrise of each day, to run at large upon any property <br /> within the city of Everett, other than that occupied by the <br /> person owning said dog, and it shall further be unlawful <br /> .2 ' <br />
