i • <br /> i <br /> 4 <br /> MERCHANT PATROL .AGENCIES --PRIVATE <br /> DETECTIVES <br /> section s It shall be unlawful for any person, <br /> corporation, ssociation, co-partnership or any other <br /> • organization of any kind to act as or carry on the occupa- <br /> tion >of merchant' s patrol policeman or private detective <br /> within the limits of the City of Everett without first <br /> hating made application therefor to the Commissioner of <br /> Safety and by him approved, and obtained a license from <br /> the City Clerk of the City of Everett for the carrying <br /> on of said occupation or acting as such merchant ' s <br /> patrol policeman, 9r,,private detective. <br /> Section ,'- It shall be unlawful for any person, <br /> n association co-partnership or any other <br /> corporation, p <br /> organization of any kind to employ or cause to be em- <br /> ployed any merchant' s patrol policeman or private <br /> detective, or any other person or persons to act as <br /> such within the limits of the City of Everett, who has <br /> not first made applicat ' n and obtained a license as <br /> provided in • this Ordinance, to carry <br /> on such business 4a" ,occupation. <br /> Section « : ' I <br /> t shall be unlawful for any person, <br /> corporation, association, co-partnership or any other <br /> organization of any kind to carry on the business of <br /> merchant' s patrol agency or private detective agency, <br /> or the occupation of merchant ' s patrol policeman or <br /> private detective or to act as such within the limits of <br /> the City of Everett without first having made application <br /> to the Commissioner of Safety of the City of Everett for <br /> a license, and without first having obtained such license <br /> as prdrv$ed in this Ordinance, to carry on <br /> such business or occupation, in which application shall <br /> be given the name and residence of the applicant and a <br /> brief statement specifying in detail the nature of the <br /> wore in which the applicant intends to engage, and carry <br /> on within the C 'ty pf Everett. <br /> Section ,' I,.
