Section /41I5c All license plates,issued by the City Clerk with 'peddlerst licenses and all _license plates of' vehicle licenses and the badges issued with vehicle licenses; all plates •issued with pink wagon licenses; license plates issued with boat licenses and all other plates that may be issued with certain kinds of licenses by the City Clerk, are and remain the property of the City of Everett, and if found in possession of any person other than the licensee, such plates or badges must be surrendered to the City Clerk. SectionA It shall be unlawful for any person to use, or permit to be used, any license plate, license badge, except those issued by the City Clerk in conformity with the provisions of this ordinance . It shall be unlawful for any person to make, or manufacture, any license plates, badges, except upon order of the City Clerk of the City of Everett. All license plates issued under the provisions of this ordinance for any purpose, must be removed from the vehicles upon revocation of the license with which they were issued . Section Unless otherwise specifically provided for in the License dO/ :e, whenever the license fee is fixed by the day, a license may be issued for one (1) or more full day and not for two half days, nor- for any fractional part of one (1) day; whenever a weekly fee is prescribed, it shall mean and include a full week and no such lioness shall be issued for a less period than one (1) week; whenever a monthly license fee is prescribed, it shall mean a full month and no monthly license shall be issued for a less period than one (1) month; whenever the license fee is fixed at a certain fee per annum or year, it shall mean a full year and no such license shall be issued for a less period than one (1) year; provided, how- ever, that in the event any person fails or neglects to renew his license on or before the date qf expiration thereof, or in the event that any persons engages in a business, trade, occupation or calling requiring a license as in this ordinance provided, but who has failed, or neglected, to obtain the same, then the time of delinquency may be deducted from the period of time for which the license is issued; and provided, further, that no license shall be issued for a greater period than one (1) year. Section / '.r) All yearly licenses issued under this ordinance shall expire on ecember 31st following the issuance of such licneses. All yearly licenses issued in any year subsequent to July 31st shall be issued upon payment of a license Xee of one-half the regular yearly fee charged for such licenses.
