' , 110- WEIGHING MACHINES OR VENDING MACHINES _ • Sect ion ;: It shall be unlawful to place upon any public sidewalk within the limits of the city of Everett, any weighing machine for the use of the public without having first obtained a license therefor as hereinafter provided. Sect:ioij Before any person shall be licensed to place upon any public !sidewalk within the limits of the city of Everett, a weighing machine for the use of the public, he shall make application to the City Clerk for a license therefor. The Clerk may thereupon issue such license and deliver the same to the City Treasurer who shall collect the amount of the license fee, which is hereby fixed at the sum of Five ( 5.00) Dollars per year, and upon payment to hi,1 of said amount shall deliver said license to the applicant therefor. Said license shall authorize the licensee to place said weighing machine on a public sidewalk for the use of the public for a period of one year. Section . Any weighing machine so licensed shall be placed adjacent to the uilding, adjoinpag the sidewalk on which the same is placed, so as not to interfere with the use of the sidewalk by the public; and no weighing machine so licensed shall be placed or kept upon any sidewalk and aujacent to any building, without first having received therefor the consent of the owner or lessee of such building. '. /L Section r--...3rIt shall be unlawful to place upon any public sidewalk or other public place within the limits of the City of Everett or to place upon the side of any building in such manner as to cause the same to extend over the sidewalk or other public place any vending machine, without first having obtained a licanse there- for as hereinafter provided.
