ELECTRIC SIGN HANGERS Section. i : It shall be unlawful for any person to erect / or hang electric signs, without first taking out and procuring a license so to do, to be known as an "Electric Sign Hanger' s License". The fee for such Electric Sign Hanger' s License shall be, and the 1 same is hereby, fixed in the sum of Twenty-five ( 25.00) Dollars per annum. Sectb p & Every applicant for an Electric Sign Hanger' s License must be a bona fide resident of the City of Everett, and shall file with the City Clerk an application for such license, accompanied by a satisfactory certificate, signed by at least two ( 2) responsible electricians or builders, or one of each, to the effect that said applicant is :mown to them to be a responsible person, skilled in the business of erecting electric signs and qualified to perform such work. He shall also file with the City Clerk a bond running to the City of Everett in the penal sum of One Thousand ( 1000.00) Dollars con- ditioned that he will indemnify and save harmless the City of Everett from all claims, actions or damages of every kind and description which may accrue to, or be suffered by, any person by reason of the negligent or improper erection or hanging of an electric sign, or any failure to comply with any ordinance in the City of Everett relating to the erection and hanging of electric signs. Upon filing such application, certificate and bond, and the pay- ment of the license fee, the City Clerk shall issue an Electric Sign Ranger' s License J.n conformity with the provisions of this Ordinance. , 'd Secti7 It shall be unlawful for any person having an 74 Electric Sign Hanger' s License to erect or hang any electric sign in or over any street, avenue, or alley, or other public place within the City of Everett, without a permit therefor shall have first been issued to the owner of the premises to which such electric sign shall be attached, as provided by ordinance relating thereto, and it shall be un- -4.57—
