ORDINANCE NO. 2495 <br /> AS ORDINANCE of the City of Everett granting to the <br /> Great Northern Railway Company, its successors and assigns, <br /> the right, privilege and authority to lay down, construct, <br /> maintain and operate railroad tracks in, along, over and <br /> "across Nassau Street and Everett Avenue within the City <br /> of Everett, and granting to said company, its successors <br /> and assigns, a right of way for such tracks. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED 37- THECOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT, <br /> as follows: <br /> Section 1. That there be and hereby is granted to <br /> the Great Northern Railway Company, a corporation, duly created, <br /> organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the <br /> State of lannesotal and to its successors and assigns , the <br /> right , privilege and authority to locate , lay down, construct, <br /> maintain and operate a standard gauge railroad track or tracks, <br /> together with all needful crossovers and connections between <br /> said track or tracks and any other track or tracks now or here- <br /> after adjacent thereto, in, along, over and across Nassau <br /> Street and Everett Avenue in the City of Everett, and also a <br /> right of way for said track or tracks described as follows: <br /> All those parts of Nassau Street and Everett Avenue <br /> in the City of Everett , Snohomish County,Washington, lying <br /> within 7.5 feet perpendicularly on each side of the follow- <br /> ing described center line of spur track: <br /> Commencing at survey station 1867+59 .7 being a <br /> "Headblock°' in a track 15 feet westerly from the main track <br /> of the Great Northern Railway Company and approximately 10 <br /> feet northerly from its intersection with the northerly <br /> boundary of California Street in the said City of Everett; <br /> thence northerly along a 77=9 turnout curve to the left 70 <br /> feet; thence tangent 20 feet; thence along a 12° 30' <br /> curve to the left 127 feet to a "'Headblock", of a spur track <br /> hereinafter described; thence continue along said 12° 30' <br /> curve to the left 233 feet; thence along an 8° curve to <br /> the right 210 feet; also , <br /> All those parts of said Nassau Street and Everett <br /> Avenue lying within 7.5 feet perpendicularly on each side <br /> of the following described center line of spur track: <br /> Commencing at the last mentioned "Headblock" ; thence <br /> along a 0 turnout to the right 73 feet; thence northerly <br /> and tangent 10 feet; thence along a 10° curve to the left <br /> 118 feet; thence northerl and tangent 82 feet; thence <br /> along a 4° curve to the 135.8 feet ; thence northerly <br /> and tangent 89 feet to the end of this description. <br /> Excepting from above descriptions the present right of <br /> -1- <br />
