Everett Parks Restroom Renovations <br />BCRA Project No. 23007.00.00 All Disciplines <br />ASR #1 – August 1, 2023 Page 5 of 9 <br />Phase 45 – Bidding <br />Task XM4 – MEP - Howarth Park, 1127 Olympic Blvd <br />Design West Engineering will provide the following services for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing <br />Engineering for this phase: <br />1. Attend one (1) pre-bid meeting to cover all park restrooms. <br />2. Provide response to RFIs to Architect <br />3. Provide clarifications and revisions to drawings and/or specifications when required <br />Phase 50 – Construction Administration <br />Task A4 – Architecture - Howarth Park, 1127 Olympic Blvd <br />Perform tasks associated with Construction Administration in conjunction with Owner and General Contractor. <br />The following activities will be performed <br />1. Consultant will attend pre-construction meeting, take notes, and distribute the meeting notes. <br />2. Respond to valid construction RFIs. <br />3. Review only required submittals identified in the specifications, and no more than one resubmittal. <br />a) Establish and maintain submittal log <br />b) Coordinate with owner on submittal required to be reviewed by Client. <br />4. Use Tonic DM for document management. <br />5. Perform one (1) site visits during construction for progress check. <br />6. Perform punch list walk and back check walk. Time and fee assume one initial walk of building and one <br />back check walk. Additional back checks necessary to verify punch list items are complete will be <br />additional services. <br />7. Provide a Certificate of Substantial Completion. <br />8. Prepare post-construction Record Drawings based on as-built information provided by the General <br />Contractor. <br />Meetings: <br />·1 site visit for progress check <br />Assumptions: <br />·Assuming construction duration will be 6 months. An average of 1 FTE for 2 hours a week for the <br />duration of construction has been budgeted. Some weeks will have more hours than others over the <br />course of the project due to the differing phases of construction. Should our estimated duration or <br />amount of effort increase, an additional service request will be submitted for approval prior to <br />performing the work. <br />·Client will approve change order and pay applications. <br />·Attendance at construction progress meetings can be provided as an additional service. <br />Deliverables: <br />·Progress reports
