Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />PLAN REVIEW SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Permit Services Plan Review Support <br />The Scope of Work for the Permit Services Plan Review Support services may include, <br />but is not limited to, the following tasks: <br />On-site Public Works Plan Review Training <br />The Consultant shall facilitate training of other Everett Permit Services public works plan <br />review staff to help them get up to speed. Applicable areas of training shall include but <br />not be limited to the following: <br />•Applicable codes and ordinances <br />•Beginner-level engineering principles and practices (in accordance with the <br />Everett Design and Construction Standards) <br />•The overall process of conducting plan review and backchecks. <br />Ideally, the Consultant will perform this training in-person, but may be able to perform <br />some of the training via MS Teams. On-site needs can be flexible from a few hours per <br />day or a few days per week to full-time in office at Everett Permit Services. <br />Project Management and Contract Administration <br />The Consultant shall organize, manage, and coordinate the disciplines required to <br />accomplish the contract and shall perform multiple plan reviews concurrently. The <br />Consultant shall coordinate its work with efforts performed by City staff and other <br />consultants or contractors. The Consultant shall provide project management and <br />contract administration services to facilitate efficient progress on each plan review, <br />including: <br />•Project team management and coordination, including managing sub- <br />consultants <br />•Meeting organization, facilitation, and documentation <br />•Manage, monitor, and prepare progress reports, schedules, scope, and scope <br />changes, of all work performed under this contract <br />Review of Civil/Site Development Applications <br />Perform civil/site development plan review of private development applications filed with <br />the City of Everett including, but not limited to, preliminary subdivisions, SEPA, <br />shoreline applications, and public works permits for compliance with codes, ordinances, <br />and engineering principles and practices. The consultant will focus primarily on the civil <br />engineering design of all private development within the City of Everett which consists <br />of residential and commercial developments featuring paving, grading, water and sewer <br />utilities, stormwater management practices and infrastructure, and all other site <br />development features outside of a building. <br />The Consultant shall provide a variety of development review services, which may <br />include, but not be limited to the following:
