October 18, 2023 <br />1 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., October 18, <br />2023, by Vice President Tuohy. <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Fosse, Rhyne, Schwab, Vogeli, Zarlingo, and <br />Tuohy were present. Mayor Franklin and President Stonecipher were excused. <br />Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Fosse read the land acknowledgement. <br />The minutes of the October 11, 2023, City Council meeting were approved. <br />MAYOR’S COMMENTS <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />No members of the public spoke. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Council comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br />Council Member Fosse requested if staff could get a briefing from Providence leadership after <br />the death of a citizen while waiting for care in the hospital. <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson stated she would provide additional information <br />on the proposed Vera Clinic amendment on tonight’s agenda and provided an update on the <br />relocation at Clare’s Place due to contamination. <br />Council Member Vogeli asked about the cost of the Clare’s Place relocation pallet shelters.
