Exhibit A – SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br /> <br />I. PERFORMANCE, TERMINATION AND COSTS <br /> <br />1.1 The period of performance for this Agreement shall be from June 1, 2023, <br />through June 1, 2024, unless modified by written mutual agreement. The courses <br />are currently scheduled as follows: <br /> <br />• Vehicle Dynamics, January 29 – February 2, 2024 <br />• Traffic Crash Reconstruction 1, February 12-23, 2024 <br />• Traffic Crash Reconstruction 2, March 11-22, 2024 <br /> <br />1.2 This agreement may be terminated for cause or convenience by either party upon <br />sixty (60) days written notice to the other party. <br /> <br />1.3 In the event the work under this Agreement is terminated, in whole or in part, by <br />the Host Agency, the Host Agency shall reimburse NUCPS for all costs and <br />expenses incurred through the date of termination. <br /> <br />1.4 Tuition for the courses shall be at an agreed contract rate as follows: <br /> <br />• Vehicle Dynamics, $995.00 per student <br />• Traffic Crash Reconstruction 1, $1,295.00 per student <br />• Traffic Crash Reconstruction 2, $1,295.00 per student <br /> <br />1.5 The maximum enrollment is 35 students for the courses. The minimum <br />enrollment is 15 students. <br /> <br />1.6 The Host Agency will receive one free seat in the course after reaching 15 paid <br />enrollments, and a second after reaching 20 paid enrollments. <br /> <br /> <br />II. THE HOST AGENCY AGREES <br /> <br />2.1 To advise all students of local details pertaining to the course schedule, dates and <br />accommodations. <br /> <br />2.2 To make arrangements for suitable classroom space, at least 30 square feet per <br />student, and breakout rooms and areas. Functioning audiovisual equipment (e.g. <br />an overhead projector, screen, projection device for PowerPoint presentations, <br />whiteboard, easel, paper and podium) to accommodate the participants and <br />instructors. Such facilities and equipment are to be provided without financial <br />obligation to NUCPS. <br />
