CITY OF EVERETT - CITYWIDE BICYCLE WAYFINDING STATE FUND# HLP-PB21(014) WO#3786 September 25, 2023 42 The Contractor shall be responsible for providing, without expense or liability to the 1 Contracting Agency, any additional land and access thereto that the Contractor may desire 2 for temporary construction facilities, storage of materials, or other Contractor needs. 3 However, before using any private property, whether adjoining the work or not, the 4 Contractor shall file with the Engineer a written permission of the private property owner, 5 and, upon vacating the premises, a written release from the property owner of each 6 property disturbed or otherwise interfered with by reasons of construction pursued under 7 this contract. The statement shall be signed by the private property owner, or proper 8 authority acting for the owner of the private property affected, stating that permission has 9 been granted to use the property and all necessary permits have been obtained or, in the 10 case of a release, that the restoration of the property has been satisfactorily accomplished. 11 The statement shall include the parcel number, address, and date of signature. Written 12 releases must be filed with the Engineer before the Completion Date will be established. 13 14 1-08.0.RTF 15 1-08 PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS 16 17 Add the following new section: 18 19 1-08.0 Preliminary Matters 20 (May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) 21 22 1-08.0(1).RTF 23 Add the following new section: 24 25 1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference 26 (October 10, 2008 APWA GSP) 27 28 Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be held 29 between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as may be invited. 30 The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: 31 32 1. To review the initial progress schedule; 33 2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated or affected 34 by the work; 35 3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, approvals, 36 submittals, etc.; 37 4. To establish normal working hours for the work; 38 5. To review safety standards and traffic control; and 39 6. To discuss such other related items as may be pertinent to the work. 40 41 The Contractor shall prepare and submit at the preconstruction conference the following: 42 1. A breakdown of all lump sum items; 43 2. A preliminary schedule of working drawing submittals; and 44 3. A list of material sources for approval if applicable. 45 46
