CITY OF EVERETT - CITYWIDE BICYCLE WAYFINDING <br />STATE FUND# HLP-PB21(014) <br />WO#3786 September 25, 2023 <br /> 42 <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for providing, without expense or liability to the 1 <br />Contracting Agency, any additional land and access thereto that the Contractor may desire 2 <br />for temporary construction facilities, storage of materials, or other Contractor needs. 3 <br />However, before using any private property, whether adjoining the work or not, the 4 <br />Contractor shall file with the Engineer a written permission of the private property owner, 5 <br />and, upon vacating the premises, a written release from the property owner of each 6 <br />property disturbed or otherwise interfered with by reasons of construction pursued under 7 <br />this contract. The statement shall be signed by the private property owner, or proper 8 <br />authority acting for the owner of the private property affected, stating that permission has 9 <br />been granted to use the property and all necessary permits have been obtained or, in the 10 <br />case of a release, that the restoration of the property has been satisfactorily accomplished. 11 <br />The statement shall include the parcel number, address, and date of signature. Written 12 <br />releases must be filed with the Engineer before the Completion Date will be established. 13 <br /> 14 <br />1-08.0.RTF 15 <br />1-08 PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS 16 <br /> 17 <br />Add the following new section: 18 <br /> 19 <br />1-08.0 Preliminary Matters 20 <br />(May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) 21 <br /> 22 <br />1-08.0(1).RTF 23 <br />Add the following new section: 24 <br /> 25 <br />1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference 26 <br />(October 10, 2008 APWA GSP) 27 <br /> 28 <br />Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be held 29 <br />between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as may be invited. 30 <br />The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: 31 <br /> 32 <br />1. To review the initial progress schedule; 33 <br />2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated or affected 34 <br />by the work; 35 <br />3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, approvals, 36 <br />submittals, etc.; 37 <br />4. To establish normal working hours for the work; 38 <br />5. To review safety standards and traffic control; and 39 <br />6. To discuss such other related items as may be pertinent to the work. 40 <br /> 41 <br />The Contractor shall prepare and submit at the preconstruction conference the following: 42 <br />1. A breakdown of all lump sum items; 43 <br />2. A preliminary schedule of working drawing submittals; and 44 <br />3. A list of material sources for approval if applicable. 45 <br /> 46
