In all 20 <br />cases, the approved paper construction plans are the official contract documents. If the 21 <br />Contractor wishes to use the electronic version of the construction plans for the purposes of 22 <br />providing construction surveying of proposed improvements, it shall be the Contractor’s 23 <br />responsibility to verify that any coordinates used from the electronic file exactly match the 24 <br />station and offset location given in the contract construction plans. Construction plans are 25 <br />diagrammatic in nature. The coordinate locations of the various graphic elements within the 26 <br />electronic files may not necessarily be precisely shown with respect to their coordinate 27 <br />position.
