Spray Type D is not allowed. 3 <br />4) All two-way left turn yellow lines and lane lines dividing two opposing directions of 4 <br />travel shall be Type D plastic flat line. 5 <br />5) Profiled plastic Type D material, where called for in the Appendices to the Special 6 <br />Provisions, shall be used for lane line dividing traffic in the same direction of travel 7 <br />including plastic skip white lane line, and solid white edge line, or other lines 8 <br />staked by the Engineer. 9 <br />6) All white parking lines shall be paint line. 10 <br />7) All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. 11 <br />8) All plastic shared lane markings (sharrows) and plastic bicycle lane symbols shall 12 <br />be Type B Pre-formed Fused Thermoplastic. 13 <br />9) Green background for sharrows and plastic bicycle lane symbol, where indicated 14 <br />in the plans, shall be Type B Pre-formed fused thermoplastic. 15 <br />10) All bicycle symbols and sharrows shall be installed with the bicyclist facing the 16 <br />vehicle lane. 17 <br />11) Unless otherwise indicated in the plans, all sharrows shall be installed with the 18 <br />centerline of the sharrow aligned with the centerline of the vehicle travel lane. 19 <br /> 20 <br />8-22.4 Measurement 21 <br /> 22 <br />Stop Line will be measured by the linear foot of 24” wide marking installed. 23 <br /> 24 <br />The measurement for “24-inch Plastic Green Bike Lane Extension Line” and “Bike Lane 25 <br />Green Zones” will be based on the total square feet installed of the green pavement 26 <br />marking only. 27 <br /> 28 <br />The measurement for “Plastic Bike Symbol – Driveway” will be measured per each bi-29 <br />directional pair of symbols installed. 30 <br /> 31 <br />8-22.5 Payment 32 <br /> 33 <br />Section 8-22 is supplemented as follows: 34 <br /> 35 <br />“24-inch Plastic Stop Line”, per Linear Foot 36 <br />“24-inch Plastic Green Bike Lane Extension Line”, per Square Foot 37 <br />“Bike Lane Green Zones”, per Square Foot 38 <br />“Plastic Green and White Crosswalk Marking”, per Square Foot 39 <br />“Plastic Bike Lane Symbol”, per Each 40 <br />“Plastic Bike Lane Symbol with Arrow”, per Each 41 <br />“Plastic Bike Lane Straight/ Turn Symbol”, per Each 42 <br />“Plastic bike lane turn arrow symbol (white)”, per Each 43
