The comments below <br />must be addressed before a permit can be issued. These comments address building issues only <br />Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments including Public Works, <br />Planning, and Fire. Code citations provided in the following comments reference the 2015 <br />International Residential Code (IRC), 2015 International Building Code (IBC), and the 2015 <br />Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be <br />submitted to the Building Division for review: <br />a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. <br />b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br />c. Two copies of structural calculations. <br />Submittal documents shall contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project <br />for compliance with the adopted codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your application <br />Will be given priority and plan reviews will recommence. <br />Comments <br />1. The proposed project has been submitted as modifications to a single-family residence (SFR). <br />However, the project appears to be converting a SFR into a duplex. The project requires <br />approval from the Planning Department. See additional comments below. <br />2. The proposed project appears intended to comply with the requirements of the 2015 <br />International Residential Code. The code should be specified in the construction drawings.
