NOV 0 4 2022 4 <br /> Associate Engineer/ Commercial Plans Examiner <br /> (425)257-8810 CITY OF EVERETT <br /> Permit Services <br /> Dear Mr. Martin, <br /> In acknowledgement to the comments issued regarding the initial Proposed Adult Family Home, <br /> here are the itemized responses and actions taken to each comment: <br /> Intake Review Responses: <br /> 1. The required AFH checklist were submitted together with this response letter. Section 1-4 of <br /> the checklist were completed. <br /> 2. Occupancy group and construction type classifications was removed as per suggestion; to <br /> avoid confusion on the proposal. <br /> 3. Existing floor plan of the project was added on the drawings. It shows the previous legally <br /> permitted conditioned of the house prior to its modification. (See sheet A4) <br /> a. An ocular for roof truss verification was made to identify the existing trusses used. As <br /> per verification, the primary roof trusses above the living area, dining, kitchen &den are <br /> supported by scissor truss roof and for master's bedroom, master's bath, W.I.C, bath 1 <br /> and laundry are supported by common trusses. Therefore, the interior wall modifications <br /> for existing Den will not affect the roof load. <br /> b. All modifications made on the laundry area was added on the revised proposed plan. <br /> (See sheet A5) <br /> c. There will be no changes in the closet door of bedroom B. The proposed plan was <br /> revised to avoid confusion and the door was labeled as existing. <br /> d. A detail for new window framing was added. (See detail 3/A3) <br /> e. The door modification and wall extension were shown in the Proposed Floor Plan. (See <br /> sheet A5). The details for new window and new interior wall were added on detail <br /> 18t /A3. <br /> f. Master bath is confusing <br /> g. The prior configuration► of fixtures for second bath was shown in Existing Floor Plan. <br /> (See sheet A4). All modifications were added on the revised Proposed plan. (See sheet <br /> A5) <br /> h. The new office room was previously served as a pantry/storage. There will be no interior <br /> wall or other modifications for this room. <br /> 4. A Demolition Plan was added on sheet A4 to clearly shows the wall to be demolished and to <br /> be retained. <br />
