• • <br /> Architectural: <br /> 5. With the revised proposed floor plan, each sleeping room are now classified per given <br /> classifications on IRC Section R330.3. (See sheet A5) <br /> 6. Each bedrooms have its own designated emergency egress openings. Every identified <br /> windows egress (existing or new) was labeled appropriately and noted with maximum sill <br /> height as per IRC R310.2.2. <br /> 7. Smoke alarms was added on every sleeping room and another set of smoke and CO alarm <br /> was added per IRC R314.3. As per required in the comments given on the initial proposal, a <br /> heat detector was added on garage and additional alarm outside proposed bedroom E. The <br /> alarm place near the kitchen was removed and a note requiring the alarms to be hardwired, <br /> interconnected, and provided with back-up battery power was added. (See sheet A5) <br /> 8. Please see Alteration 2018 WSEC table on sheet A2. There will be no alteration on the <br /> roof/attic and addition to existing building, so providing ventilation baffles is not necessary <br /> for the project. <br /> 9. New windows for bedrooms D &E were labeled with required thermal ratings of U=0.28. <br /> (See sheet A5) <br /> 10. Kitchen and bathrooms were added with exhaust fan and its minimum required <br /> performance rate was noted. <br /> 11.The existing heating system will be retained and use for this project. It was located on the <br /> garage area. (See sheet A4 or A5) <br /> 12.The existing water heater on the garage will be retained and use for this project. It has an <br /> existing seismic restraint. <br /> 13. Grab bar details was added on sheet A2. <br /> 14. The existing garage door swings inward, so it will be retained. There was an existing landing <br /> on the garage side of the door and it will be retained. <br /> 15. Deck/ramp foundation and framing plans were added on sheet A5. All details for the new <br /> deck and ramp were added on sheet A2 and A5. <br /> Structural: <br /> 16. Structural plans are revised and updated to comply with the required drawing plans <br /> mentioned in this section of the comments. The submitted plans now includes existing floor <br /> framing plan(AS), existing roof framing plan (AS), building section (A6), details (A2, A3&A6), <br /> fastening schedules (A3), materials requirements and general notes (A1). <br />
