Please review and respond to the comments below. <br />ARCHITECTURAL <br />1. There are several sheets that appear to have place holder text to be updated. <br />For instance, on sheet AB-111, the General Plan Note item 1 has "See Detail <br />XXA-XXX for vent pipe penetrations.". Please update notes as required for <br />clarity where they occur. IBC 107.2.1. <br />2. Sheet A-101 shows that number of proposed parking stalls for the lot as 76 <br />stalls. Given the proposed R-2 occupancy and the number of stalls provided for <br />the site is greater than 20. The WA state amendment section IBC 427 would <br />appear to apply. Please indicate and revise plans as required to accommodate <br />for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. IBC 427. <br />3. Sheet A-101 shows the fire separation between buildings on the site plan. <br />Please locate the fire separation line (FSL) that separates the buildings on the <br />same lot for clarity. From the drawings, the distance between buildings is <br />noted. However, while it can be assumed that the FSL is a line that is <br />equidistant between the proposed buildings, it is not clearly defined on the <br />plans and potentially can be unclear with buildings that have undulating <br />building plan geometry. Please clarify on the plans a FSL IBC 7O5.3. <br />4. On Building A, Sheets AA-111, AA-112, AA-113, given the plan geometry of <br />the south exterior exit stairway and parts of the south exterior wall of the <br />apartment units proposes openings that appear to require fire protection Per <br />IBC 1027.6 and 1023.7. The window schedule of Sheet A-620 does not appear <br />to have notes addressing fire protection of such openings. Please verify and <br />clarify that fire protection for such openings receive fire -protection and revised <br />plans as required. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
