EVERETT <br />WASHINGTON <br />November 30, 2023 <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />Permit Services <br />Permit #: B2308-010 <br />Site Address: 2407 106th St SW, Everett <br />RE: First Building Permit Review Letter <br />The proposed project has been reviewed for compliance with the provisions of the building codes adopted <br />and amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. The comments below must be addressed <br />before a permit can be issued. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or <br />additions may be required by other review disciplines including Public Works, Planning, and Fire. <br />Code citations provided in the following review comments reference the Everett Municipal Code (EMC), the <br />2018 International Building Code (IBC), the 2018 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), 2018 the <br />Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), and the 2018 International Mechanical Code (IMC). Additional <br />reference standards are listed in IBC Chapter 35. Amendments to the adopted building codes by <br />Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Title 51 are incorporated into the referenced code citations. <br />For the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be submitted to the <br />Building Division for review: <br />a. Itemized response letter addressing the comments provided below. <br />b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br />Submittal documents shall contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project for <br />compliance with the adopted codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your application will be <br />given priority and plan reviews will recommence. <br />A letter should be provided as requested per Item (a) above to clearly indicate how each comment has been <br />addressed. <br />Architectural <br />General: <br />1. Please indicate how the F-1 area changing use to B occupancy will satisfy 2018 WSEC Commercial <br />Chapter 5 EXISTING BUILDINGS Provisions. Response: Revised plans submitted 10/17/23 now show no <br />change of use for the F-1 portion of the building. <br />2. Indicate the walls and partitions and urinal partition requirements from Chapter 12, 2018 IBC for the <br />altered restrooms. Response: Revised plans dated 10/09/2023, submitted 10/17/23, now show no <br />alterations to the existing bathrooms <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
