December 6, 2023 <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />Library Board <br />• Brian Hennessy, Pos # 4 – term expiring 12/31/2028 <br />Lodging Tax Advisory Committee <br />• Quynh Devitte, Pos #1 – term expiring 12/31/2026 <br />• Gael Gebow, Pos #2 – term expiring 12/31/2027 <br />• Tia Winch, Pos #4 – term expiring 12/31/2025 <br />Public Facilities District Board <br />• Michael Swanson, Pos #2 – term expiring 12/31/2027 <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Council received eighteen (18) written comments, and the following members of the public <br />spoke: Paula Townsell, Ryan Johnson, Shaina Langley, Ryan Weber, Fidencio Velasco, Sam Hem, <br />Thomas Bosserman, Paul Galovin, Ethan Pfahl, Billy Wallace, Terri Amburgy, Karina Burns, Janean <br />Desmarais, Ryan Weber, Sonja Bodge, Steve Oss, Anne Landis, Charles Adkins, Marilyn <br />Rosenberg, Isabella Valencic, Emily Simpson, Michelle Pendergrass, Scott Sparling, John Traynor, <br />Matt Frazier, and Kelli Johnson. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy had questions regarding increasing Council COVID fund allocations for <br />2024. Finance Director Susy Haugen, stated council can make an amendment to the budget at <br />the beginning of next year. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli requested an update on the transit merger study timeline. President <br />Stonecipher and Mayor Franklin stated the study is on hold until January and would have a <br />briefing brought to the committees in the coming months. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli requested an update on the Redistricting Handbook timeline. <br /> <br /> <br />
