We will issue this current permit with the understanding that an additional one will follow
that will complete all code -required items (specifically the elevator and 2A stairway). We will be able to issue a
Temporary Certificate of Occupancy which will limit the mezzanine to storage without an elevator or second stairway
installed at this time. The number of occupants accessing the mezzanine (at any time) must not exceed 49 persons. This
TCO would be in effect for a maximum of 6 months (long-standing maximum per policy), if you need an extension,
please let us know in writing (this is a formality issue, we approve these requests as a standard course of business).
Please let me know if this acceptance requires additional clarification or if I may be of further service. Thank you, Tony
- Tony Lee
Building Official I Permit Services
425.257.8812 13200 Cedar Street, 2"d Floor, Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT eve rettwa.gov permits I Facebook I Twitter
From: Harold Christensen <haroldc@lmueller.com>
Sent: Tuesday, February 14, 2023 1:43 PM
To: Tony Lee <TLee@everettwa.gov>
Cc: Dennis Gunnell <dennisg@formostfuji.com>; Ken Meyer <kenm@formostfuji.com>; James Schwartz
<JSchwartz@Kirtley-Cole.com>
Subject: [EXTERNAL] Formost Fuji project phasing
CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. As you may recall we separated the Phase I storage mezzanine permit from the Phase II building addition
permit so we could utilize the storage mezzanine and operate the Formost Fuji manufacturing business while the Phase
II work was in progress. This is critical to the function and feasibility of Foremost Fuji moving into the former MTorres
building.
The Phase II building addition plan preparation is ongoing, and we intend to submit as soon as we have architectural,
structural, civil, and landscaping plans prepared. We anticipate a permit in spring and hope to start as soon as we are
able.
(-!
