I have copied your <br />comments below in italics with responses in regular font. <br />Architectural <br />1. A handrail should be shown at the stairs on the floor plan in compliance with Section <br />R311.7.8. <br />1. Handrail was drawn in on page A4 and outlined under item#1. <br />2. The plans should show a heat pump per the project energy credits. Plans currently show a <br />furnace. WA State Energy Code Table R406.2 <br />2. Heat pump is shown on page A4 under item 5 <br />3. Smoke alarms on the second floor appear to be shown closer than 3 feet to the bathrooms. <br />The smoke alarm should be relocated a minimum 3 feet from the bathroom door. See IRC <br />Section R314.3 item 4 for more information. <br />3. Smoke alarm was moved per comment. Shown on page A5 under item 3. <br />4. See the selected energy credits on Sheet A7. The drawings should specify the maximum <br />tested <br />building air leakage per selected option 2.1. WSEC Table R406.3 <br />4. Correction is shown on page A7 under item 5. RedUce the tested air leakage to 3.0 air changes per <br />hour maximum at 50 Pascals <br />5. See the selected energy credits on Sheet A7.
