The email recaps our telephone conversation. I spoke to someone a few weeks ago after Ryan Hammer called your office. Unfortunately, I don't recall who; it could have been someone on the design team for the building permit (B2012.005). This issue is that the mechanical permit application includes structural drawings with significant modifications and new framing. These structural modifications are not included in the building permit application. We cannot permit the structural work under the mechanical permit application. One of two things needs to occur: 1. A revision is provided for the Building Permit B2012-005 that incorporates the structural framing required for the mechanical work. 2. A separate building permit application is required for the structural modifications. Note that the structural drawings do not clearly cloud the additional work that is not covered under the other permit, which is confusing. New structural drawings should be provided that clouds the work covered by the new building permit application. I understand that Kevin in your office may want to call me.
