The area in question on your photo is just an existing lawn area. As part of the new sign
installation (to be handled through a separate sign permit), we expect there will be some new
ornamental landscaping (ground cover and shrubs) and landscape maintenance in this area and
have noted this on the landscaping site plan 3C/A1.4.
5. Please clarify if there is any ground mounted mechanical equipment on site and if so, indicate
on site plan.
There is no existing or proposed ground mounted mechanical equipment as part of this project.
6. Please demonstrate how exterior site lighting will meet the requirements in
EMC19.31.B.070.M. Exterior site lighting can be shown on the landscaping plan and building
lighting can be shown on the elevations.
Exterior light fixtures and photometrics have been added to the landscaping site plan 3C/A1.4
and the exterior elevations on sheet A4.
7. Please note a site visit will be performed on Tuesday, December 8' to verify existing perimeter
landscaping and the wetland buffer is intact. If there are gaps in existing landscaping, it will
need to be replanted to comply with the current landscaping requirements.
We look forward to your comments after the site visit.
Please note that the comments above apply to both the design review and building permit
application. An electronic copy of the updated plans can be emailed to me directly for the design
review application.
Revised set of plans in PDF format is included together with this response letter.
However, hard copies of the updated building permit drawings will need to be submitted at the
Permit Services building (location original plans were dropped off). Here is a link to the Permit
Services page where you can find further instructions on how to submit plans during this time:
https:Heverettwa.gov/1 69/Perm it -Services.
If it is acceptable to you, we would like to wait until we receive comments from the other
departments like Building, Site Engineering, and Fire before printing up a hard copy of the
revised plans.
Sincerely,
BPH Architects
Steve Hammer
Principal
SH/sh
enc: Enclosures
cc: file, CPV
1912-CPV-Planning Corrections Response.docx
