3 g ✓ <br /> V <br /> C)RDINANCE NO. j"741g <br /> An Ordinance providing for the improvement of McDougall <br /> Avenue, from 15th Street to 16th Street, by grading, construc- <br /> tion of concrete sidewalks, also slagging a strip 16 feet wide, <br /> construction of concrete curbs and gutters at the intersection <br /> of 16th Street, installation of necessary drainage, and doing <br /> all other work on the entire district necessary to make a complete <br /> improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 3472 of the City <br /> of Everett; creating an assessment district; creating a Local Im- <br /> provement District Fund therefor, providing that said improve- <br /> ment be made by special assessment upon the property in said dis- <br /> trict under the mode of payment by bonds. <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3472 of the City of Everett, the <br /> City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the <br /> improvement as above outlined and doing all other work necessary <br /> in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accord- <br /> ance with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> • THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That McDougall Avenue, from 15th to 16th Streets , <br /> be improved by grading, construction of concrete sidewalks, also, <br /> slagging a strip 16 feet wide., construction of concrete curbs and <br /> gutters at the intersection of 16th Street, installation of neces- <br /> sary drainage, and doing all other work on the entire district . <br /> necessary tom ake a complete improvement according to the plans <br /> and specifications prepared under the direction of the City Engi- <br /> neer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approv- <br /> ed. <br /> Section 2 That the cost and Expense of such improvement, <br /> including all necessary incidental expenses,, shall be borne by and <br /> assessed against the property included in the assessment district <br />
