'what the maintenance of any such lighting system upon <br /> any street, avenue or public place of the city of Everett after <br /> the expiration or termination of the permit so to do, shall be <br /> and hereby is declared to be a public nuisance and may be abat- <br /> ed by the city as such. <br /> Section 5: That all parkway cable used in any such in.- <br /> stallation shall be properly protected from mechanical injury <br /> and shall be so insulated that there shall not be less than 100 <br /> megohms resistance to electrical current between the conductor <br /> and the inner metallic sheathing. <br /> Section 6: Nothing in this ordinance contained shall be <br /> construed to prevent the city from requiring the removal of such <br /> . auxiliary lighting systems at any time that the same should be <br /> necessary in the discretion of its City Council. <br /> Section It Such permit shall be granted and shall be of <br /> force and effect when the same has been approved by the City <br /> Council by resolution. <br /> Section 8: Any person violating any terms or provisions <br /> of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and <br /> upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding <br /> Three hundred dollars ($300.00), or by imprisonment in the City <br /> Jail not to exceed ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and im- <br /> prisonment. <br /> Mayor. <br /> Attest: <br /> City Clerk. <br /> Passed: March 19, 1929 <br /> Published: March 21, 1929 . <br />
