ORDINANCE NO. 2319-98 <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the <br /> North/South alley located in Block 631, Plat of Everett, <br /> Division. I, Everett WA. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, did by Resolution No. 4537 duly <br /> adopt and fix the 14th day of January, 1998 at 8:30A.M., as the date of public hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and <br /> determination of said Resolution has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by <br /> law; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing, the issues were publicly presented; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would not vacate the alley could it not ensure that <br /> traffic circulation would be continued through an alternate right of way; and <br /> WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett that the said alley <br /> resolved to be vacated should be vacated pursuant to the terms and conditions of this ordinance: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> That the following described right-of-way: <br /> All that portion of Block 631, Plat of Everett, Division I, according to the plat <br /> thereof, recorded in Volume 5 of Plats, Page 11, records of Snohomish County, <br /> Washington; described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 12 of said block; THENCE, South <br /> along the East lines of Lots 12 through 16, inclusive, to the Southeast corner of <br /> said Lot 16; THENCE, East along the Easterly projected South line of said Lot <br /> 16 to the Southwest corner of Lot 28 of said Block 631; THENCE, North along <br /> the West line of Lots 28 through 32, inclusive, to the Northwest corner of said <br /> Lot 32 of said block; THENCE, West along the Westerly projected North line of <br /> said Lot 28 to the Northeast corner of Lot 16, and the POINT OF BEGINNING <br /> be and the same is hereby vacated pursuant to the conditions set forth in this ordinance. <br />
