The version of PASS-IVR Para Transit uses is no longer being supported by Trapeze and is <br /> running on legacy hardware. The cost to upgrade PASS-IVR to the current version combined with the cost of <br /> hardware and annual maintenance is prohibitively high. <br /> As an alternative to upgrading PASS-IVR, Trapeze has agreed to exchange the PASS-IVR licenses for <br /> TripSpark Ripple licenses. TripSpark Ripple is a more cost-effective solution targeted to smaller agencies <br /> like Everett Para Transit. Since it is a hosted solution there are no additional costs since there are no <br /> hardware or infrastructure costs to implement. It will also allow clients to receive SMS text message <br /> reminders. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment#4 to the System Supply and Support Agreement with Trapeze <br /> Software Group, Inc. for no additional cost. <br /> 105 <br />
